03 Lab Exercise 1

IT Infrastructure

1. Create a network design that will represent a LAN or WAN on an IT business.

● Why did you come up with that kind of design?
This is the infrastructure for my IT business. The Bus topology
was what I used for the programmers. because it is an
organization for programmers. The network as a whole is
unaffected by the failure of one station. If one computer or
device fails when using a bus topology, the rest of the network is
unaffected. There is no effect from this performance
modification. Because of the network's linear structure, every
unit is linked to every other unit. data is transferred to the
backbone and then made available to the other linked units. It's
a good method for having uninterrupted conversation as a
result. It offers excellent value for the money. The simple
architecture makes it a good option for small networks (4
computers), enabling communication between all components.
One coaxial or RJ45 connection connects the two devices.
Additional nodes can be added with ease if necessary. For the
Analyst and MIS, I added more network lines and used mesh
topology. Since it manages enormous amounts of traffic and
permits numerous devices to share data simultaneously, it
requires staff. The failure of a single device does not cause a
network outage or a failure in data transmission. When new
devices are added, data communication between them is not
interfered with.

● How does it help a business?

Since they are all employees and analysts on each machine, I
chose this. The planning, creation, and execution of hardware
and software applications fall under the purview of this position.
They can easily share their work with others within the company
using a management information system, a network and
integration system, or a programming and systems system. I
also made use of a wireless router. For the clients' gadgets,
additional devices are available. I chose WAN as the connection
type because I wanted to use it for the printer as well. It has
developed into a widely accessible technology that anyone can
use. Because it is an IT organization, I use effective and reliable
standards for every project.
