    Heart Lung Machine

    • ECMO:
    ECMO stands for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. ECMO machine is
    similar to the heart-lung bypass machine used in open-heart surgery. It
    pumps and oxygenates a patient's blood outside the body, allowing the heart
    and lungs to rest.

    • Heart Beating Technology:


    "Heart in a box" technology is a heart transplant organ-preservation system.
    Organ Care System lets the donor heart continue functioning outside the
    body while the heart is being transported.

    • DC Motor Controller:
    If we want to control the blood flow rate using simple mechanism, we can
    control blood flow rate using dc motor (pump) by controlling the velocity of
    rotation of dc motor which should be proportional to output blood flow rate
    using simple microcontroller like an Arduino.
