RESUMPTION OF FACE TO FACE CLASSES AT SEGI UNIVERSITY

Dear Students,

Greetings from the Registrar’s Office and hope you are well. As you are aware, all
students are required to resume face to face classes on campus beginning January
2023. However, we take note of the travel restrictions imposed in China (due to
COVID) and the difficulty in acquiring travel documents to facilitate your entry into
Malaysia.

In managing the directive, we have proactively submitted a request to the Ministry of

Higher Education for an extension of the directive from the Malaysian Qualifications
Agency dated 8th August 2022 to continue hybrid teaching-learning until such time
when the travel restrictions have been lifted, hence allowing you to enter/return to
Malaysia. While we await a response from the Ministry, the University shall continue
to provide online classes as currently practiced. The outcome of our application to
the Ministry will be made known to you in due course.

University if you require further clarification or assistance.
