I oppose capital punishment. But first, let me state that I am pro-life, or rather, pro-lives.

  And
I will not utilize any religious cards because I believe in the separation of church and state.
No1- Poverty
That is correct, and that is the reason why others are unaware; nonetheless, some claim that
people are not scared. They aren't terrified since they don't know the difference between good
and bad. So the major cause of this problem is poverty, as these people are not given the
opportunity to receive a good education.
No2 – Judicial System
The judicial system of the Philippines is too far from the ideal judicial system
Let's talk about the judicial system. We can't deny that our country's judicial system isn't perfect,
and that there are still injustices. Many poor individuals face punishment as a result of a lack of
access to competent and experienced lawyers to defend their rights. We also can't disregard that
other attorneys are squeezing the wealth of the wealthy. I also don't believe that the truth wins
the court why? Because in this generation who wins the court becomes the truth.
No3 – Enforcement
Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach said she opposes the death sentence because
Filipinos are more fearful of being caught than of dying. However, if our law enforcement or
government officials continue to be biased and cruel, I believe the death penalty is not for us.
And Lastly ; Let us return to Mary Jane Velasco, an OFW in Indonesia. Because we need to
save her, some of us, or the majority of us, are against the death sentence at the time, and we are
changing our opinions. Let's just be clear about where we stand. I am a pro-life advocate who
opposes the death penalty.
Let's imagine that before the death penalty was enacted in other nations, law enforcement
improved. Our judiciary is likewise in the third world since the Philippines is a third-world
country. I don't believe we are capable of enforcing the death penalty because, for the nth time,
we cannot claim that our country's legal system is not just and powerful enough. And there are
other little concerns in the Philippines, such as a basic problem on the roads that the MMDA
cannot totally resolve due to traffic and other factors. So how much more ang Death Penalty?
Another thing when it comes to unfairness, I think it’s a no, because Philippines is not as wealthy
as other countries, lets be honest to that. Based on American Bar Association, they have
standards in giving right justice to those have death penalty case. First of all there is a need on
experienced and knowledgeable lawyers second is there must be private investigators, 3rd is there
must be a mitigation or specialist and other that this dapat sagot ng pamahalaan ang lahat ng
With all
of that, lets go back to reality na hindi kaya ng bansa natin ang lahat ng yun. Halimbawa, kung
magpapatay tayo, 1 person a month, isang milyon ang aabutin. And instead of using those
millions of pesos, why don’t we use it for education, paggawa ng eskwelahan para sa mga bata, o
Some other
rich countries who are against penalty, yung pera ginagamit nila upang bumuhay ng tao at para

I believe
there is forgiveness in everything that we do. Yes “siguro” maganda na maimplement yung death
penalty, pero I believe it is so Idealistic; na hindi lahat ng tao makakaintindi kung ano ang bagay
na iyon especially to those who are uneducated
