Amazing Race
GROUPINGS

*If we have 30 participants and above, the teams will be grouped into 3 groups

*If we have less than 30 participants, 2 teams will do.

*Teams will be recognized by colors.


Salvation Badge
*The leader will be picked a color through a draw lots. Repentance Badge
Lordship Badge
*Each team will be given a badge in each completed task. Forgiveness Badge
Lifestyle Badge
*The badge will be attached to their respective flag.

*The goal of the game is to complete all tasks and win the badges.

*The teams who completed all 5 badges will go back to the first station and shout their yell.

Game Intro: TEAM NAME/YELL/FLAG (8-10mins)

Materials:

Just be resourceful 😊

* Each team will be given a task simultaneously:

A. Team Name

B. Team Yell

C. Flag Making

* Each team will choose one-word name for their group. They also need to find anything they can use to
make a flag that represents their team; the goal is to highlight their team’s name and color in the flag.
*While making the flag, they should also find ways on how to make a short team yell.

*The first team to finish will be back to their line, the leader in front line should carry the flag and the
team will shout their yell.

Game 1: DRAW A PICTURE

Materials:

 3pcs Marker
 Yarns / Lots of Yarns
 3 Blank Papers
 3pcs Printed Drawings
MECHANICS:

 Each team will be given:


-1 marker with many strings attached.
-1 blank Paper
-1 printed drawing
 Each team will gather around to form a circle.
 The blank paper will be place at the center of the circle.
 Each team member will hold the string attached to a marker.
 The goal of the game is to copy the printed drawing using the marker without holding it.

Game 2: HARVESTING WORDS

Materials:

*Words/phrases with strings attached to a tree

MECHANICS:

 Each team will be given a scroll with instruction written:

“What is Peter said unto them in Acts 2:38”


*Harvest the words on the tree.

 The members should only get the words/phrases printed on the paper of the same team color.
 The goal of the game is to complete the verse of Acts 2:38
Game 3: ACID RIVER CROSSING

Materials:

9-10 square tiles (improvised) depends on the player number

*Put your imagination and presence of mind to the test as you cross an imaginary river of acid and try to
survive!

*The goal is to get the entire team across the river safely.

*An advanced game where dexterity, time-management, and resourcefulness come into play.

Game 4: GIANT SPIDER WEB

Materials:

Strings or ropes

small stuffs such as toys

monoblock chairs

*The whole group must get through without waking the spider, or the objects on the web will not fall.

*In case any of the object fall, the whole team should go back from the start.
Game 5: THE STRONGEST TOWER

Materials:

50pcs Toothpicks

30 Marshmallows

 The goal is to use all the materials to build the strongest tower

*Before the time ends, have a short sharing about their experiences and lessons learned from the race.

Salvation – picturing out how God saves us from eternal death

Repentance – keeping in mind the importance of repentance to have salvation

Lordship – Having an open mind and obedient heart with our King will lead us to cross our rivers.

Forgiveness – No matter how many times we fall in our sins, God can always forgive us

Lifestyle – The choice in our life depends on us, just like how we decided to build our strongest tower, it
is our choice whether we want God to build us and become a true disciple; or live our life with our own
decision.
