Pre-lesson: Teacher asks pupils if they enjoy cooking and whether they follow recipes to make
food at home. Pupils share their thoughts. 
Lesson delivery: 
1. Pupils refer to Activity 1 in textbook page 77. Teacher asks pupils if they know how pasta is
made.
2. Pupils refer to each picture and share what they can see from the picture. 
3. Pupils read the sentences a-i and ask if there are any words that they do not understand. 
4. Pupils match the sentences by writing the number of the pictures and the correct sentences
that describe the picture in their exercise books.
5. Teacher explains that pupils are going to write the passive sentences. Teacher shows some
examples.

ideas for question 1.
2. Teacher explains that pupils are going to write an article and write the answers for Activity 2
in the introduction. 
3. Teacher explains the way of writing an internet article. Pupils refer to page 76 for the
methods of making pasta. 
4. Teacher shows an example of an article of how pizza or any other food is made. 
5. In pairs, pupils work to write an article by writing 2 paragraphs (1 paragraph each).
6. Teacher monitors pupils’ work collaboration.
Post-lesson:  Teacher and pupils discuss the answers.
