The letters of the alphabet are arranged with letter A being the
first letter, B as the second, C as the third, D as the fourth, E as
the fifth, F as the 6th, G as the 7th, H as the 8th, I as the 9th, J as
the 10th, K as the eleventh, L as the 12th, M as the 13th, N as the
14th, Ñ as the 15th, NG as the 16th, O as the 17th, P as the 18th,
Q as the 19th, R as the 20th, S as the 21th, T as the 22th, U as the
23th, V as the 24th, W as the 25th, X as the 26th, Y as the 27th,
and Z as the 28th. - The 21st letter is letter S ma’am.
Ask: What does the arrangement of the letters of the alphabet
indicate? - We are able to know the ordinal
numbers of letters by counting,
Explain to learners how to write ordinal numbers. starting with the first letter, ma’am.
To write ordinal numbers in symbol, connect the number with
the letters st for numeral with the number 1 (1 st, First), nd for -The ordinal numbers can be
numerals with the number 2 (2nd, Second), rd for numerals with written in words or in symbols,
the number 3 (3rd, Third), and th for numerals with the number 4 ma’am.
