Research Methodology

This section showcases the research type, method, instrument, data gathering procedures and
tools, and the participants of the study.
This is a qualitative study that intends to determine the effects brought by the blended learning to
the Grade 10 students of Saint Jerome Emiliani School of Bataan (SJES) as they open the face-
to-face classes for the Academic Year 2022 – 2023. The said study will be done by means of
questionnaires and particular interview with the participants.
The primary instrument that will be used in this study is a questionnaire and voice-recorded
interview with selected participants.
The participants of the study will be the Grade 10 students of the mentioned institution.
Information will be collected from fifteen (15) Grade 10 students from the said institution, whose
age bracket are ranging from fifteen (15) – sixteen (16) years old.
The researcher constructed a questionnaire on the impact of this blended learning to the students’
academic performance and the challenges that the students faced in dealing with this learning
modality, which was intended for these Grade 10 Students of SJES. Series of interviews will also
be conducted with some of the participants. After which, the responses will be organized,
tabularized, analyzed, and interpreted.
The researcher will be using frequency distribution for the study.
