SUMMARY

To conclude this discussion, the report was based on several different concepts of business

communication such as communication between departments, flow of communication

between employees and its customers, conducting efficient meetings, and use of meeting

technologies. The company chosen for this report was Siemens. We discussed how Siemens

encourages teamwork in its workplace. With all the facts mentioned above in this report, it

is safe to say that Siemens is committed towards promoting a collaborative workspace.

Moving further, we discussed how Siemens uses feedback as an internal source of

communication between its employees and siemens management. A brief competitor

analysis of Siemens is done in this report which highlights the big three competitors of

Siemens which are General Electric, Schneider, and ABB. These three companies give a lot of

competition to Siemens and become one of the threats in the SWOT analysis of the

company. Since there are fewer suppliers in the industry, Siemens is dependent on that low

number of suppliers and mainly third party companies. It is safe to say that suppliers have

the power and competition is high for Siemens. Furthermore, after analyzing the results of

the questionnaire, it can be said about Siemens that they give great importance to

communication. They ensure that their employees, executives, and consumers are always

connected. Siemens is good at communicating what they do to their consumers, that is why

this company has been able to hold its position as one of the leading brands of the industry

and why it has been able to give tough competition to giant companies such as General

Electric.
Use of meeting technologies

Siemens Pakistan  conducts frequent meetings with top executives from the organisation in

various countries, so virtual meetings are preferred to save time and resources. Microsoft

Teams and Zoom are used as a medium, while Siemens has their own system for more

important and confidential meetings with top executives. These mediums have built-in tools

that aid in the presentation of information. However, physical meetings are held in a

technologically friendly environment where everyone has access to the data being

presented and discussed.
