SELECTION OF EMPLOYEES

1. Among the applicants represented, who would be your first choice for the job and why?
Among the candidates, I will select the one who has a background in the position and has
worked in the sector for a number of years. I would choose noel because he has everything I
need for the role of manager, despite the fact that he is a crippled victim of the Abu Sayyaf who
lost his arm while being held prisoner by the ASG. I have faith in him because he has a master’s
and a Doctorate degree in Industrial Relations. Prior to the tragedy, he worked as the Production
Manager for a manufacturing business for ten years. His flaws will not define his credibility and
master –skills about being a production manager.

2. Who would be your last choice and why?

I would recommend Chester as the last candidate for the role because he has a BSBA from
Ateneo de Manila. Furthermore, he has been his father’s business partner since he was a child.
Being the final option does not imply he is unqualified, but as the person in charge of selecting
the best candidate, I would look at their experiences more than simply the university they
attended.

3. Explain the factors that the president must take into consideration before making the
final employment decision.
The president should take into account the applicant’s qualifications. Experience is the most
crucial aspect for me. The more experience they have the more concepts and techniques they use
to keep ahead of the competition. The last factor that I wanted to evaluate is the leadership
capability, I wanted that the employee develops and learn on his own, I wanted also to share his
knowledge with his co-workers so that others may benefit from what he learned.
