The process that Nicole should follow to solve this problem is that
she must reevaluate the job description and school policies and
procedures and then include certain specifications that will make
her colleague more aware of their roles within the school.
Nicole is the principal so she acted correctly when she noticed
inconsistent conduct by one of her colleagues and identified the
problem, she then realized that she should carry out a job
description along with standards and procedures that specify what
should be done and how to do it.
When we say job description it is a useful, plain-language tool that
explains the tasks, duties, function and responsibilities of a
position. Its objective is to adapt professionals to their work
position according to their profile and optimize people management,
creating greater standardization of processes and agility in
decisions. So job description must always be monitored so that
employees can carry out their role effectively.
