MAJOR EXAM IN ORAL COMMUNICATION

For this quarter, you will no longer have your written exam. Ibig sabihin po, your
exam will either be a performance or portfolio presentation. In connection, I am going to
send your performance task that will serve as your major exam. The examination week is
probably on January 9-14. So, it means the SUBMISSION of your output will be on or before
January 8, until 11:59pm.

MAJOR EXAM (75 pts):

Pick one relevant social issue in our society. Create a speech about your chosen
social issue. Then, record yourself while delivering the speech. Act like you really
speak in front of a large gathering of people. You can invite individuals that will
serve as your audience. The following are the guidelines for your exam:

1. You need to submit the written speech and video on or before January 8, until
11:59pm. During our class schedule, ipapasa ninyo ang printed speech sakin pero
yung video ninyo, you need to upload it on YouTube and send the link only on
January 8.

2. PRINTED SPEECH FORMAT:

o Arial 11
o Short size bond paper
o 1” margin all sides
o 1.5 spacing
o Minimum of 300 words
o NO PLAGIARIZED CONTENT. Plagiarized content will receive a failing score.

3. RECORDED VIDEO:
o The speech should be memorized.
o The video must be 2-3 minutes only.
o Upload it on YouTube and send the link in our group chat on January 8,
until 11:59pm (Wala ng mag-ppm sakin ng link, lahat ay sa GC na). Make
sure that anyone with the link can access the file, so that I can view it.
o The name/title of your video when you upload it should be like this:
[SURNAME-ORAL COM EXAM-SECTION]
Example: ANCIRO-ORAL COM EXAM-ST1MA
o Observe proper way of delivering a public speech.
o Exam will not be accepted beyond the given deadline.

On the examination date, panonoorin natin ang video ninyo sa TV. That’s why
