1.0. At title blocks;

Findin
(a) update the Consultant Endorsement as follows;
I, , an (Architect / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Fire Protection Engineer) with UPDA/QCD registration no. , being the
consultant, hereby certify that the fire safety works shown on this Fire fighting system (FFS) plan is/are in accordance with the QCD Technical Requirements Guide 2022.
Further, I hereby certify that I am fully aware on the approval of this fire safety engineering plans and do not relieve myself of being the consultant on the responsibility
in continued compliance to the QCD Technical Requirements Guide 2022, applicable/acceptable NFPA codes, standards, procedures and practices implemented by the
GDCD.
Affixed is my name and company stamp to attest with the above undertaking.
(b) revise dwg no. for FF-203( 1F_Laboratory).
2.0. At Cover page;
(a) for Clean agent system protected rooms, submit "Confirmation letter / Non-objection letter" from the Owner/client for provision of such system on these rooms as
per plan layout(specify each room).
(b) in legend&symbols;
> in fire extinguishers, provide its type(ABC,etc.) and capacities. And other symbols as per plan layout(e.g. trolley, etc.)
> provide two(2) types of FHC as per plan layout. Moreover, confirm if the Class III is existing as per previous approved FF plan.
> reflect all symbols as being used in the floor plan(e.g. pre-action valve,etc.)
(c) in General notes, do not show item no.21.
Moreover, add the following notes;
> In the event of conflict concerning any provision/s stated under the QCD Technical Requirements Guide 2022 and NFPA, such provision/s stated in QCD Technical
Requirements Guide 2022 shall take precedence.
> Any fire safety provisions or requirements not specifically addressed in the QCD Technical Requirements Guide 2022, the applicable codes and standards of National Fire
Protection Association (NFPA) shall be utilized as the principal standard reference(s).
> In the adoption of requirements from other international fire safety engineering codes /standards, endorsing consultant, shall seek concurrence from the office of the
Fire Prevention Department under the General Directorate of Civil Defense (GDCD) prior to implementation of such undertaking.
(d) provide latest Summary of Hydraulic calculation. Provide Sprinkler and Landing valve(from scope/modified Bldgs).
(e) reflect only Sprinkler design criterias being used in your Hydraulic calculations(in scope/modified Bldgs).
Moreover, use QCD format for sprinkler design criterias. And for Storage occupancy(in new Store), in each required values indicate the section/figures/tables references
from NFPA 13(2019).
Note: Complete review will be done upon compliance.
3.0. At FF-100(site plan), clearly identify(provide tagging) the location of the existing Fire pump and fire tank that supplied the whole development.
4.0. At FF-201;
(a) provide dimension of gridlines(w/ scale). Note: Apply also in other floor plans where applicable.
(b) provide also legend for cloud if new or internal modification(as per site plan dwg). Note: Apply also in all floor plans where applicable.
(c) provide/show pipe sizes of Riser nipples(in modified areas). Note: Apply also in all floor plans.
(d) in all Pantries, provide k-type fire extinguisher and fire blanket. Note: Apply also in all floor plans.
(e) reflect existing FHC or provide new one that will cover all the modified Office areas(along gridline 1-4/A-K).
Moreover, provide sprinkler in the following rooms(e.g. Pantry(gridline 4/I), Entrance(1/J), small room(4/D),etc.)
(f)provide fire extinguisher serving Offices around gridline 1-4/F-K.
(g) in added Stores;
> indicate the height of the low partitions as per approved LSP dwg.
Moreover, move pr provide additional sprinkler to provide complete sprinkler coverage in the Corridor.

Findings

> identify and indiacate the node reference in each sprinkers that were used in your Hydraulic calculation.
> provide flushing connections in crossmains.
> relocate FHC to completely cover the whole store area. Apply also in Corridor.
> recheck travel distance of fire extinguisher throughout Store(s). Provide additional as necessary. Apply also in Corridor.
> do not put Electrical room that are not reflected from approved LSP dwg.(at gridline 29/6)
> clarify the room w/ aluminum frame w/ glass(gridline 29/7) if it has no false ceiling. Provide tagging in the room if it is so(if not, then provide sprinkler).
(h) in modified Workshop;
> for rooms protected w/ Clean agent system, submit Non- objection/Confirmation letter(see related findings above).
> in small rooms(e.g. around gridline C/11, C/6 and B/4), provide tagging if they have no false ceiling thus non provision of sprinklers.
> provide demarcation(for open above/double height) in all areas/rooms that are protected with high level sprinklers.
> clarify/confirm if Class III FHC is existing.
> provide complete coverage of portable fire extinguishers(Note: provide/put in common area then measure up to the most remote room/area). Apply required travel
distances.
5.0. At FF-202, in 1F;
> provide sprinkler in Server room.
> provide complete sprinkler coverage in corridor at gridline E-F/3.
> recheck travel distances of fire extinguisher. Provide additional as necessary.
6.0. At FF-203, clarify if the Office Mezzanine is full height all through up the Roof. If not, provide above sprinkler as necessary. Moreover, provide
fire extinguiher serving Offices and Pantry(also fire blanket).
7.0. At FF-204, in GF, provide sprinkler in small rooms at gridline A/1 and A/3.
8.0. At FF-301 to 303;
Note: Complete review will be done upon submision of "No objection/Confirmation letter".
(a) revise Tabulation of Clean agent design criteria, use format as per QCD standard.
(b) for gas cylinders, move outside of the room (apply as per QCD requirements).
(c) provide also Sounder/flasher unit inside the room.
(d) provide Warning sign/Illuminated sign in both inside&outside of the room.
(e) provide Section dwg of each room(and show above ceiling/trench void if any). Then reflect the nozzle/detector as per plan layout.
(f)provide FA&FF schematic diagran that are consistent as per plan layout.
(g) provide General Notes for Clean agent system, Sequence of operation and standard details.
9.0. Provide Section dwg of all modified Bldgs. And reflect sprinklers(and standpipe riser for Tower) as per plan layout.
10. Submit Design Report of this application. And this should be signed&stamped by the Design Consultant and Owner/owner's representative.
11. Submit Hydrauli calculations;
(a) submit Sprinkler&Hose calculation in most remote&most demand based from the modified Buildings of this application. Note: Attach them with their respective
isometric diagrams.
(b) for Storage, attach cutsheet of figures or tables from NFPA 13 where in the selected criterias are highlighted(e.g. hazard classification, storage configuration,
commodity class, k-factor and others).
12. Reserve.

Note:(1) Update all affected drawings in relations to findings above.

(2) Fire fightng findings may be added upon compliance of findings / resubmission.
(3) Submit Compliance Report.
