 Scheepjes Catona:
• 2 skeins 408 (Old Rose)
• 1 skein 114 (Shocking Pink)
• 1 skein 106 (Snow White)
• 1 skein 403 (Lemonade)
 Thin black scrap yarn
 Brown Safetyeyes 12 mm
 Crochet Hook 2.5 mm
 Stuffing
 Scissor and needle
Abbreviations:
blo – back loop only
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
dec – decrease
flo – front loop only
hdc – half double crochet
inc – increase
mr – magic ring
sc – single crochet
ss – slip stitch
st – stitch
* * - description inside * * repeats number of times that’s written
[ ] – description inside [ ] crochets in the same stitch
( ) – number of stitches that round
Hints:
 Feel free to use one/more stitch marker(s) to keep track of where the round begins/ends, also
advantageously used to keep track of where to put the safety eyes.
 When it is time to attach all the parts and sew them, it is a great advantage to use pins to
hold the part in place while sewing and to make sure that the part sits where you want it.
 I’ve written in the pattern where the safety eyes should sit, preferably crochet 3-4 rounds
extra before attaching them so that you yourself can crochet without hindrance.

Ballerina Shoes:

Assembly:
1. Sew the ears onto the head, slightly bent, about 4 rounds from the centre on the top off the
head. Weave in the ends.
2. Sew the snout between but under the eyes. Weave in the ends.
3. With yarn 114. Embroidery two vertical lines on the snout and a mouth under the snout.
4. Sew the arms on each side off the body, about 1-2 rounds under the opening of the top. Stuff
the last of the arm while you sew it in place. Weave in the ends.
5. Sew the skirt on place with yarn 106, 14 rounds from the top of the skirt. Tie the threads
together and leave about 1.5 cm of the threads to hang freely.
6. Sew the legs to the body about 4 rounds from the centre of the bottom and so the hips are 2
rounds from the skirt edge. Weave in the ends.
7. Sew the tail to the body in the middle of the back, around 3 rounds from the skirt edge.
Weave in the ends.
8. Sew the head to the body. Weave in the ends.
9. Put on the shoes and turn the ribbons around the legs and tie.
