What are the problems without street
lights?

Poorly-lit streets and those without any lighting pose a danger to the citizens, more so
women, who do not use motorized forms of transportation. People in Barangay Arena
Blanco complain that vehicles are slowing down next to them or that people are
making lewd comments. Lately, there were many happenings of vehicle accidents in
this area as a result of lacking of street lights.

There were so many complains about this problem. Unfortunately, the barangay
councilors didn’t do anything on this problem.

There were so much complains about this problem, because they are worried about
themselves. Without the street lights, their lives are close to danger! Street lights are
proven way to reduce crime in the dark. Ensuring that your property has adequate
lighting is a way to reduce risks.

The real main problem here is the barangay council not doing anything about this
problem even though there were so many complains of the lack of street lights. This is a
big deal. This problem should be prioritized! Anybody’s life depends on this one.
