This research study aimed to determine the Effects of Flex Learning on

the Academic Performance of Grade 12 Accountancy, Business and

Management (ABM) Students of Alaminos City National High School.

This study attempts to determine the demographic profile of respondents

in terms of age, and gender. It also ascertained the experiences of the

respondents in terms of flexible learning and academic performance of the

students.
iii

Descriptive-correlational research design was used in this study to

assess the respondents’ socio-demographic profiles such as their gender and

age. The sampling used to find out who the respondents were was through

availability sampling technique. The researchers applied Slovin’s Formula in

determining the number of respondents.

The researchers involved a total of 142 respondents from Grade 12 ABM-

Diokno, ABM-Gokongwei, ABM-Ayala and ABM-Razon. The statistical treatment

of data involved was the frequency and percentage count, average weighted

mean, and correlation coefficient or Pearson-r for the hypothesis testing.

Based on the gathered data, female teen students are more dominant than male

students. Most of the respondents strongly agree with the indicator statements

given and had a strong impact on the academic performance of the respondents.

Furthermore, the two variables, academic performance and flex learning, had a

strong correlation. Thus, the null hypothesis was rejected. Therefore, there are

significant effects or correlation between Flex Learning and Academic

Performance of Grade 12 ABM students of Alaminos City National High School.
