speaking is a basic skill very important in skill development speak English orally.
There are many types of media to help students learn to speak English. One of them is the
mobile application. there are many famous applications in this era. folou and elsa app are
some of the most popular applications. most of teachers and students use this app to
improve english skills. although the function is the same, but has some differences and
similarities. There are some differences and similarities between falou and elsa app.
First, between falou and elsa have some differences benefits. The first difference is in
the features. falou teaches english in a fun way using audio conversion via cell phone
(Roach, Peter. 2016). Available for iPhone (iOS), the app suggests phrases for users to record
into the microphone and complete dialogue of everyday situations, such as shopping,
ordering food at a restaurant or participating in a job interview. In addition to English, the
service offers classes in French.Spanish, and Portuguese. Whereas in the Elsa application
there is an API feature and a focus on pronunciation, which can recognize non-native
speakers' speech with an accuracy of more than 95 percent designing learning to become
native speakers. In addition, the API from ELSA provides detailed feedback for the

application can be downloaded for free and tried with limited features and can be used
online. falou and elsa aim to support students to learn easily. various kinds of features in
improving English speaking skills that can be useful to increase their chances of learning
(Ken xiao. 2018). falou and elsa app help students know the pronunciation that is not quite
right, so we can say the right and correct words again.
In conclusion, falou and elsa apps can help students easily learn the correct
pronunciation and know a lot of vocabulary broadly. good and effective application So,
teachers can use this application according to the needs and character of students
