Dear Shaelyn,

My attention was sparked by the position at Langley events centre. It appears to be an excellent
starting step in one's career. I bring a set of skills that I feel will be useful for this position, such as great
communication skills in Hindi, Punjabi, and English as well as excellent time management and customer
service skills. I hope that my passion and enthusiasm have prepared me to be an ideal match for this
program and your staff.

I already have some experience in customer service from my position as concession worker at Langley
Events Centre. Since I have been working there, I have learned how to operate a cash register and POS
machine to complete sales via cash, credit and debit for customers. I have also honed my customer
service skills while helping customers there by answering their questions, taking orders for the
concession from them, and resolving any concerns they may have. Each day I help to prepare fast food
items and ensure the food preparation area is clean and sanitized to Foodsafe standard. I love helping
customers and making sure they get what they want with each order.
