ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. Title:

Onsite Orientation and Workshop on Siyensikula Video Editing for

Science Fair Contest

III. Rationale:

With the onset of video lesson demonstration utilization in the

‘new normal education’, the teachers in the Department of Education—
Division of Siquijor are challenged to adapt to this mode of learning
delivery. Thus, as a way to equip our teachers on the nature of video
lesson creation, this Office will conduct a three-day onsite orientation
and workshop on Siyensikula video editing.

Seeing the need for such skill in video editing, this seminar will
enable our select teacher participants to develop and harness their skill
in the creation and presentation of lessons through videography.

IV. Training Objectives:

At the end of the three-day onsite orientation and workshop, the

participants will be:

A. re-oriented on the guidelines and format in Video-making Contest

(Siyensikula) for the National Science and Technology Fair; 
B. up-skilled on the mechanics of script/story writing and presentation of
video-exemplars related to science/math concepts; and,
C. introduced to the basics of graphics, creative video making and editing.

February 21-23, 2022

Limited In-Person: Bellview Restaurant

VII. Target Participants:

A. Junior and/or Senior High School Science or Math Teachers/ICT

teachers with basic skills in Graphics, Video Making and Editing
