Overview of Number and Number Sense

The learner demonstrates understanding and appreciation of key concepts and

skills involving numbers and number sense (whole number up to 100, ordinal
numbers up to 10” money up to PhP100, addition and subtraction of whole
numbers, and fractions ½ and ¼ ) geometry ( 2-and-3 dimensional
object) ;patterns and algebra (continuous and repeating patterns and number
sentences).

Objectives
At the end of the 50-minutes discussion, the students should have been able to:

The Learners demonstrates understanding of addition and subtraction of whole
numbers up to 100 including money.

B. Performance Standard
The learner is able to apply addition and subtraction of whole numbers up to
100 including money in mathematical problems and real-life situations.

C. Learning Competency
The Learner illustrates subtraction as ‘taking away.” (M1NS-IIe-30.1)
