• The teacher will give group activity or game for the
motivation.
• The game entitled “GET IT! PUT IT!”.
Procedures:
• The teacher will introduce the new lesson, the less than, greater than and
equal to.
• The teacher will define and differentiate
less than, greater than and equal to.
Less Than– is used to
compare two numbers which emphasizes the smaller digits.
< - this symbol represents the less than.
Greater Than – is
used to compare two
numbers which
emphasizes the larger
or bigger digits.
> - this symbol represents the greater than.
Equal to – is used to
compare two
numbers which has
the same or equal of
numbers or amount.
= - this symbol represents the equal to.
• The teacher will give examples in less than, greater than and equal to.
The teacher will be using pictures or visual symbols and
real- life objects in giving examples. The pictures or the
real-life objects will be flashed in the screen and held by
the teacher.
Before the teacher or the class will tell whether it is less
than, greater than and equal to, the students will count first
the images that are presented.
For each example, the teacher will ask questions.
