CIRCULATION: BUNAWAN STREET PATTERN

The streets and roads of Bunawan create a network (with nodes being junctions and
linkages being segment roads) that is roughly planar. Due to geographic limitations, this
network is now well described that the degree distribution has peaked, the clustering
coefficient are significant, and the spatial distribution of betweenness centrality contains
most of the important information. It's worth noting that the information about these networks
isn't limited to their adjacency matrix. The current street pattern design thought appears to
a hierarchal conventional loop split between infrastructure and traffic efficiency concerns
and aesthetic considerations.

The development of the vehicles as a personal mode of transportation made

practically all of the Bunawan’s peripheral equally accessibility and circulation, removing the
previous planning limitation of walking distance. Simultaneously, the automobile imposed
additional restrictions: noise, emissions, and pedestrian safety. Automobiles also
necessitated roadways that were constructed for speed and driving safety, characteristics
that the conventional pedestrian street lacked.

The perceived quality of Bunawan streets is determined by a variety of physical and

operational factors, some of which are unavoidable and others which are planned. Street
life, visual complexity, social rank, and population density are all cultural and historical

characteristics. Safety, security, comfort, and a sense of enclosure, on the other hand, are
design purposes.
BUILDING TYPES

In the Bunawan setting, seeing nature, whether in the shape of parks,

boulevards, or cornered avenues, is a source of joy for the residents. Green space
has been discovered to provide social and psychological advantages, which
explains why Bunawan consumers choose naturally endowed sites and housing
locations with views of parks, open space, water bodies, and other natural
features. The green space of Bunawan gives visual respite and relaxation, serves
as a meeting spot for informal encounters, and serves as a safe refuge for children
to play.

The selected neighborhood is an existing low-rise neighborhood with wide Figure 2. Residential (Dominant) Figure 3. Commercial (Sub-dominant)

lots capable of enabling suitable low-rise development while reinforcing current

front yard setbacks. New construction will prioritize houses over garages,
encourage pedestrian connection, and include more soft landscaping and less
tarmac in front yards.

The livability of the Bunawan region will be enhanced by a variety of

building styles that will support a variety of dwelling types, tenures, and job
possibilities. Mainly, well-proportioned residential structures are the dominating
building type in the neighborhood. Industrial and commercial structures are also
becoming more leading in efficient at offering transit-friendly density while also
providing new living, working, and shopping opportunities.
