 To increase the percentage of Independent Level Readers in English of the Grades 7 to 10 learners from 60% to 100% by the end of SY 2024-2025.

Looking into the assessment Total 2.5% 30.5% 67.5% result under the
Independent Level, it could be noticed that the highest
percentage is in grade 10 while the lowest is in grade 7 with 55% and 85% respectively. These are not so alarming results. However, an intensive recovery
program, still, has to be conducted among grades 7 and 8 learners.
Below is the result of the assessment on the readiness level of learners in Mathematics for SY 2021-2022. It could be observed that almost 50% of learners
from all grade levels aren’t grade level ready in terms of the Mathematics subject. This is an alarming result specially that Mathematics is a tool subject. This
could be attributed to the learning losses of learners in terms of numeracy in the past years. Given the fact that Mathematics in the secondary level is more
complex as compared to that in the elementary grades, it became difficult for learners to grasp the concepts of the lessons in Mathematics in the Modular
Distance Learning.

Given this data set, it could be deduced that there is a pressing need to address the numeracy learning losses of RBNHS learners in all grade levels in the
Junior High School.

3. Quarterly Literacy Assessment

To develop improve learner’s performance in literacy


through assessment. Every learner’s must be assessed
by the teacher quarterly using the School Assessment
Tool. Learner will undergo sessions and workshops in
literacy in an hour allotted by the school per day
depends on the school’s agreement between the
teachers, parents and learners. All advisers will
administer the quarterly literacy assessment and to be
consolidated by the English Coordinator for the
preparation of the materials. The date of the assessment
will be agreed by the body. The data gathered by the
teacher on learner’s literacy level of readiness will
serve as the basis in profiling student’s needs as
advanced, average and learners that needs interventions
to cater on the succeeding quarters.

2. Project “RIM” (Reading In Mathematics)

To address the learning gap of Grade 7 and 8 learners


in reading comprehension and mathematics word
problems. The poor academic performance in both
English and Mathematics specially the Grade 8 learners
as reflected on their performance for the school year
2021-2022 will be the anchor on implementing the
program.

The program aims to

 distribute word problems reading materials,


 equip learners with reading, vocabulary and
numeracy skills to increase their level from
frustration to independent level of reading.

To improve the vocabulary skills of the learners


through word game.

The concept is just same with word factory game but


not time allotted. The box of letters will be shown to
the learners and their task is to create words out of
those letters. They will have to get the meaning and
create sentences out of those words. This intervention
will surely enhance the learner’s vocabulary skills as
they will create words and sentences from those letters.
This is a once-a-week drill.

4. Project “Spelling Bee”

Drills and practices will surely make the learners


improve their vocabulary skills. Weekly spelling drill
per year level will be administered. Monthly spelling
contest will be implemented. Quarterly spelling
contest will be held to know the best speller for the

VII. Sustainability Plan


This is a 3-year Learning Recovery Plan which is primarily formulated as a response to the school’s pressing problems along literacy and numeracy.
The attainment of the SMART Goals of this plan greatly depends on the effectiveness of the execution of the PPAs as well as its sustainability. This, in
addition, requires the active participation of its key players.

An annual Program Implementation Review shall be conducted in order to determine the effectiveness and sustainability of the plan. This is essential
in tracking the performance of the school in attaining its 3-year targets along recovering learning losses in literacy and numeracy. As indicated in this plan
also, are the annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which will gauge the effectiveness of the PPAs. This is significant in evaluating the effectiveness of
the PPAs and in making adjustments and modifications in the plan, should needed, for the succeeding years.
