Leaf Impression Painting

Objectives:

A, Knowledge: Identify the materials, techniques, and processes used in making leaf
impression painting
B. Skills: demonstrate how to make an art, with the use of leaf, watercolor, and bond
paper.

C. Affective: Initiate creativeness in crafting leaf impression painting

Procedure:

Motivation

The teacher will let the class to venture outside the classroom and pick a leaf of any
plant they choose. Then, the learners will proceed inside the classroom. The teacher
will call learners randomly and share their thoughts about the kind of leaf that they
chose.
Presentation

The teacher will acknowledge the varied answers of learners and share her
thoughts as well. " Class, the leaves you got come from different shapes, margin,
texture, and size. All are unique and fascinating. These leaves represent nature
and nature is God's amazing work of art gifted to us. Now using the leaves that
you have we will make our own masterpiece called 'Leaf Impression Painting'.
Please prepare your materials for us to begin."

Application:

The teacher will demonstrate the simple steps first. Now the learners will be
able to follow the steps, and create their own output.Learners may explore and
add anything while making their craft. The shape and style will depend on the
learners.

Values Integration

Create a beautiful and unique artsy thinking to encourage to make more creative
output.

Generalization

Leaf painting is the process of painting with dyed leaves. Deriving from Japan,
China or India, it became popular in Vietnam. Its two main forms are: Cutting
and pasting dry leaf to make leaf paintings or using paint to draw onto the
surface of dry leaf to make leaf paintings.

Leaf Impression Painting is simple and easy. However, it still needs patience and
creativity to come up with a desirable piece.

Evaluation:

Write 2-3 words describing their artwork. If not, they can verbally talk about

their art.
