polisinya. Hitung bayaran kos yang ditanggung oleh syarikat insurans dan
Puan Maryam sendiri jika kos perubatan Puan Maryam ialah RM 12 000.

2 Encik Hilmi ingin membeli polisi insurans kebakaran untuk rumahnya.

Nilai boleh insurans rumah itu ialah RM780 000. Polisi insurans yang
ingin dibelinya itu mempunyai peruntukan ko-insurans untuk
menginsuranskan 80% daripada nilai boleh insurans hartanya dan
deduktibel sebanyak RM5 000.

Encik Hilmi wants to buy fire insurance for his house. The insurable
value of the house is RM780 000. The fire insurance policy he wants to
buy has a co-insurance provision to insure 80% of its insurable value of
his property and a deductible of RM5 000.

(a) Hitung jumlah insurans yang harus dibeli oleh Encik Hilmi bagi
rumahnya itu.

Calculate the amount of insurance Encik Hilmi should buy for his house.

(b) Rumah Encik Hilmi telah mengalami kebakaran dan jumlah kerugiannya
adalah sebanyak RM65 000. Hitung bayaran pampasan yang akan
diterima Encik Hilmi jika dia menginsuranskan rumahnya

Encik Hilmi’s house has caught on fire and the amount of loss is RM65
000. Calculate the amount of compensation that Encik Hilmi will receive
if he insures his house

(i) pada jumlah insurans yang harus dibelinya,

on the amount of required insurance,

(ii) Dengan jumlah RM450 000.

(c) Rumah Encik Hilmi telah mengalami kerugian menyeluruh. Jika dia
menginsuranskan rumahnya dengan jumlah RM530 000, hitung bayaran
pampasan yang diterimanya.

Encik Hilmi’s house has suffered a total loss. If he insured his house at a
sum of RM530 000, calculate the amount of compensation he will receive.
