(5 mins) 2. Teacher asks pupils to name countries they
know from their general knowledge.

- What is your country? Answer: Malaysia
- What is your nationality? Answer: Malaysian
2. Teacher give pupils some statements and pupils
Presentation answer by saying yes or no:
(20 mins) - Nationality of Denmark is Danish.
- Nationality of China is Chinian.
- Nationality of Thailand is Thailish.
3. Teacher explains about countries with
their nationalities do not end with -an/-n. Example:
Holland = Dutch
Poland = Polish

Practice 1. Pupils are divided into groups. Material: Handouts


(15 mins) 2. Teacher give out handouts to pupils by group.
3. Pupils discuss about the name of the country and
its nationality.
4. Then, each group present to the front and name
the country while other groups name its nationality.
For example:
Group A: We are from India.
Other groups: They are Indians.
