Dear Parents/Guardians,

Secondary 1 Year-End Post Exams Week 2022

As part of the holistic development of students, the school has specially planned a series of year-end
post examination activities for your child/ward from 20 to 28 Oct (i.e. last weeks of Term 4). These
activities are intended to enhance the joy of learning, and provide positive learning experiences for
students to discover their talent, strengths and interests. Students will still report to school by
7.30am for the morning assembly every day, including Fridays. Attendance is compulsory.

Sec 1 Student Payment for Aesthetics Programme

All the activities during the Year-end Post Exams Week have been fully subsidised by the school,
except for the Aesthetics Programme. After partial school subsidy, the co-payment is $15. Students
who are Singapore Citizens will have the respective amount deducted from their Edusave account. If
there is insufficient fund in your child’s/ward’s Edusave account, please pay the amount after receiving
the hardcopy school bill from your child/ward. Payment can be through Giro, SAM machine, QR code
(via PayNow) or pay cash/cheque in school (payable to ‘Punggol Secondary School’).

Sec 1 Meet-the-Parents Session (MTPS)

Report books will be distributed on 28 Oct, the last day of school, and the Meet-the-Parents Session
(MTPS) for selected students will be held on 27 Oct (Thu), a non-school day. The session will be
conducted mostly through tele-conferences. Form Teachers will contact selected parents during
office hours to discuss your child/ward’s progress in school this year. We will also be arranging
for parents of selected Sec 1 students to meet with our School Leaders, Year Heads and/or Form
Teachers in-person to discuss the overall development and well-being of your child/ward. If you are
required to attend the session, a school staff will be contacting you by 25 Oct in order to schedule an
appointment. The appointment will be on 27 Oct during office hours.

For parents/guardians who want to obtain feedback from your child’s/ward’s teachers, please contact the
teachers via email. You may refer to our school website for the email address of the staff that you wish to
approach.
