LESSON 2: THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Test Yourself. Explain the quotation:

According to
my interpretation,
it implies that education is
not a life preparation.
Because, whether we
agree or  not, not every
subject in our curriculum will be useful or frequently used in the future, but our life journey is where
we can impart understanding that will be significant to our existence. Education is what we learned
in every decision we make, whether successful or unsuccessful. In school? You will simply receive
more ethical and academic instruction. Math formulas, proper grammar usage, species history, and
scientific names will become less important as we age—but they are still important. However, life
lessons will influence the type of person you become. These lessons will eventually alter your
perspective and how you perceive things from various perspectives. As a result, your true education
will be determined as you progress through life.

ILLUSTRATION. With the concept of “Education for All”, illustrate to your interpretation the idea of
complete, free, and compulsory primary education. Below is the rubric on how it will be scored. (40
pts.)

For me, a complete, free, and compulsory primary education is where all children, regardless
of where they live, are prioritized. It is critical that all children have the right to free education. Even in the
Philippines, it is widely acknowledged that there are children living in rural areas who have received
insufficient attention from our education department. As a result, children are born who do not know how to
read or write. I am a firm believer that an accessible education will mold our future innovators to their full
potential as citizens of the country. This does not guarantee a poverty-free country, but it does make our
citizens better people.
