Interpretation of the Test in Science

( Pre and Post Test )

The results of the Pre-Test and Post Test in Science conducted on the first

quarter means that most of the pupils can read but only very few has good

comprehension skills. For the lower grade, it is expected that learners cannot read yet

in English but one or two can syllabicate. In addition to that, since we are embracing

distance learning with modules as medium of facilitating instruction, some parents

find hard how to develop the comprehension skills of their children. Though

education starts at home, there is still a difference when children are sent to school.

For the post test, a good improvement is visible. Independent number of

learners is increased, and some learners belong to frustrated readers now belong to

instructional. This idea only denotes those pupils continue to develop their reading

and comprehension skills with the moral support of their parents. Thus, learning

continues.

Quarterly Assessment Review

(Interpretation and Analysis)

The results of the Quarterly Assessment in Science have shown good

improvement for every quarter. In the 1st quarter, pupils’ scores were not that good

since they are still adjusting with the new changes in the teaching-learning process.

From 2nd to 4th quarter, most of the pupils’ assessment result were better.

The quarterly assessment is given to the pupils as one way to assess their

learning retention in every quarter. Despite the pandemic, learners did their best.

Hence, learning continues.
