Guidelines for Work-From-Home Arrangement

GUIDELINES
● Who can work from home
● Functions that can be done remotely
● With measurable output
● Those with available resources (laptop, PC, smartphones, internet connection and
whatever is required for their job)
Eligibility ● Physically, emotionally and mentally fit to work
● Must have read and signed the data privacy agreement
● Finance employees using personal devices, who have been previously given remote
access to SAP, MWAS, and other internal systems required to handle financial and
customer data

● Department Heads to identify staff eligible for work from home arrangement
● Department heads shall likewise identify the assignments of each employee, the number
of hours to be rendered and the required output under the WFH arrangement on a daily
basis (Schedule A). The Department Heads will make sure that the accumulated working
hours of each employee should total to either half-day or full working day.
● These should be communicated through email to document the arrangement
● Each identified employee shall fill out the WFH accomplishment report, after rendering
the agreed assignment and submit it to his/her department head on a daily basis, by
emailing his report and the output. (Schedule B - Accomplishment Report). The same
Mechanics report will be used as weekly accomplishment report and submitted to Department
Heads every Friday of the week
● On a weekly basis, the employee must submit the same report containing the
assignment and number of hours rendered for the week
● The department head shall review and assess the accuracy of accomplishment report
submitted by employees, and endorse the same document to the Division Head for
approval
● After the approval of the Division Head, the Division Head will forward to Payroll for
implementation

● Should I time in at 8am?


The time in flexible, which means you can time in at any time depending on the agreed
schedule of assignment with the department head
● Are meetings considered as work from home? Yes
● Should I comply with an 8-hour workday? No, this depends on the agreed schedule with
the department head
● What happens if I worked for less than the eight-hour required workday? It does not
FAQs matter, since the number of actual work hours will be the basis for timekeeping.
● Will I fill out the accomplishment report on a daily basis and submit it to the department
head? Yes
● Should I file this as a manual DTR? No, Payroll will take care of this.
● How will I accumulate working days under this arrangement? The number of Working
hours will be accumulated to determine the number of working days earned during this
work arrangement (ex. If accumulated working hours is 18, employee earns 2 working
days)
● what will happen if my accumulated working hours did not total to a full 5-day work
week? Only the earned working days will be considered, the remaining days shall be
automatically considered as LEAVE.
● Shall I file a leave for the remaining unworked days? No, the Payroll department will
handle this.
● How can I sign my DPA consent form? The department head will email to his or her
employees, the employees are required to submit an email reply stating that he/she has
read, understood and agreed to the DPA consent form.
o Those who are able to print and sign, they can submit a scanned copy of the
DPA consent form
o Those who are not able to print, employees may signify their DPA consent
by replying, using our official company email, that he/she “has read,
understood, and agreed to the DPA consent form.”
