English only policy is strictly imposed on students and employees as a support
and a drill to enable them to naturally use English in a day-to-day basis. This is one
of the measures imposed by most academic institutions for the promotion of
maximized learning, knowledge retention, continuous practice, and enhancement of
fluency (Monol, 2016). In this implemented policy, there is patrolling and monitoring
system to maintain its effectiveness among students and employees. The main goal is
to strengthen the atmosphere of learning to speak the other language (i.e. English).
