Behind the municipality of GMA, Cavite, lies a locality called Barangay Poblacion 1. The Barangay is
made up of little alleys where stray animals, including dogs, dwell after being abandoned by their owners.
As a consequence of this, the animals were a nuisance to the neighbourhood’s residents, and anyone who
breathed in the animal waste may get sick. Due to a lack of funds to provide for them, among other
things, the owners let their pets or animals go independently. The "Dumi Free" initiative will assist the
people of Barangay Poblacion 1 in staying healthy. In addition to conducting a seminar regarding street
animals, we will use this chance to emphasize to the locals the value of both the environment and
wildlife.
We will also discuss the duties associated with owning pets, prevent the abandonment of animals that
owners are no longer able to care for and assist them with their pet-related difficulties. We also bring the
street animals to the barangay so they may feed and stay healthy, and then we start the adoption process
so they can experience love from their new owners once more. We are in charge of the dogs till they are
adopted and can live better.

II. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

A. To give a better and clean environment to residents of the Barangay.
B. To remind the residents to be responsible as a part of the neighbourhood and owner of animals.
C. To enable us to contribute to the prevention of pollution and diseases.
D. To help the street animals a better living.

III. PROPONENT
A group of students from G12 Pagoda living in the Barangay Poblacion 1 includes:

V. PROJECT DURATION
The project itself will be done on March 17 to March 18, 2023.
VI.PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We, a group of students shall conduct a “Dumi Free Program” for residents and street animals of
Barangay Poblacion 1. The 2-day activity includes the following:
Day 1: Cleaning up the streets and bringing the stray animals to the barangay.
Day 2: Seminar for residents as well as the animal owners of Barangay Poblacion 1.
Since the residents and animal owners have worked on weekdays, the seminar will be held on March
18, 2023 afternoon, after the clean drive is held on March 17, 2023 morning.

VII. TARGET BENEFICIARIES

This undertaking will benefit the people and stray animals of Barangay Poblacion 1 as they are bound
to be responsible animal owners and proper residents of the Barangay.

VII. BUDGET PROPOSAL

The amount required for the 2-day activity is P1,500 only. The budget is intended to use on the listed
items below:
A. The meals of the attendees of the seminar and the clean-up drive.
B. At least a few cleaning materials and meals for stray animals.

VIII. MONITORING AND EVALUATION

Quality assurance, Technical Assistance, Monitoring, and Evaluation shall be 90% successful for the
people and animals living in Barangay Poblacion 1. They will be able to live without the stress of their
surroundings and make a better living for everyone.
