FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Problem Statement : The Drug Abuse Preventive Guidance Program aims to teach consciousness among students through the
promotion of developmentally-appropriate knowledge, values and skills to be healthy and drug free
school campus. Drug Addiction is not a phenomenon in our society. Philippine National Police reported
that the National Capital Region and CALABARZON accounted for the highest volume of drug-related
inmates in the prison cells. Reported cases in the Guidance Office are also increasing. Substance abuse
prevention is shared responsibility among school heads and teachers.
Problem Objectives : To intensify anti-drug abuse information campaign;
To develop an instructional plan integrated to PDE Concepts;
To produce healthy, responsible and empowered Filipino Learners molded holistically in a drug free and
supportive learning environment that develops life skills for lifelong learning.
Root Cause : Alarming cases reported in the Guidance Office of alleged students’ using prohibited drugs
