The General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems

K-charge is the warhead of choice for weapons of today
and tomorrow. K-charge provides the warfighter with
capabilities from shoulder fired to fixed and portable land
based delivery systems; to air delivered systems; in both
aircraft and helicopters.

The compact K-charge packs the same lethal punch as its

heavier, larger counterparts, leaving room in the missile for
additional features. The end result is exceptional warhead
performance and the ability to enhance missile features
without increasing system weight or size. K-charge is also
effective for a variety of explosives and liner types. This
allows flexibility in trading cost against performance lethality
so the warhead can be tailored to best meet overall
system needs. Insensitive Munition (IM) features ensure
soldier safety.
