II. Program Background and Rationale

Rationale
The Mid-year Performance Review and Evaluation and School-based In-Service Training for
Teachers is a training designed by DepEd Schools Division of Cebu Province through the
Curriculum Implementation Division.
This is a face-to-face (for Teachers) five-day training among 13 Teachers in Cabalawan
Elementary School of the Division of Cebu Province. Participants are teachers in elementary in
Cabalawan Elementary School who are performing teaching related works and functions.

This five-day training aims to, further expand the participants’ skills and knowledge on different
digital teaching materials,systems and approaches that are useful in delivering quality instruction .

Key topics to be discussed:

- Individual Performance Commitment and Review (KRA 1-5)


- Individual Plan for Professional Development

- Mental Health and Well-being
- DRRM Contingency Planning
- New MSP and RSA for Teacher Hiring and Promotion

End of Program Outputs:

A. Formal Face-to-Face Component:


By the end of the F3 Component, the participants would have developed the following
outputs:

 Make Individual Performance Commitment and Review Form


 Develop Individual Plan for Professional Development
 Design Development Plans for Functional and Core Behavioral Competencies
 Craft Contingency Plans for Disasters
 Make their Initial Rating for Hiring and Promotion

Outcomes/Success Indicators:

- Participants were be able to understand the rational statement of this training


- Discuss the importance and how to make the Individual Performance Commitment and Review Form
- Discuss relevance of developing Individual Plan for Professional Development and Development Plans
- Make contingency plans during disasters
- Make own rating for teacher hiring and promotion

III. Program Description :

The 5-day face-to-face training for teachers intends to develop the knowledge,skills of teachers in among
the elementary teachers of Cabalawan Elementary School. Teachers will listen attentively and participate in
the discussion by writing their learnings in the mentimeter to the different topics to be discussed by the
respective speakers.
The District Supervisor will be the Over-all Training Manager and will see to it the successful and effective
implementation of this program.
Participants will be provided with meals and snacks to be charged to the School MOOE because there is a
face to face engagement in the training.There will be a smooth flow of the training and teachers will
attentively engage in the training if meals and snacks are provided.

IV. Target Learner’ Description

The 13 elementary teachers of Cabalawan Elementary School will serve as recipient of the various
learning opportunities which aims to advance their knowledge and skills on the different digital
teaching materials that will enable them to help learners’ address every potential challenges that

might come along in their journey of achieving quality education in the new normal .

- Equipped in the different digital teaching materials,systems and approaches in teaching.

- Acquire relevant learning opportunities that are based on the teachers need among the teachers in
Cabalawan Elementary School

Capacitated teachers with first-hand learning as a result of effective learning engagement through
cluster groupings

VI. Program Learning Objectives

Purpose/s:

The “The Face-to-Face In-Service Training(INSET) for Public School Teachers” is a training
for elementary teachers of Cabalawan Elementary School who will be the advocates ready to
initiate/support in its full implementation.

Objectives:

By end of the program, the participants will be able to:


1. explain importance of IPCRF in the workplace
2. make individual performance commitment and review form
3. develop individual plan for professional development
4. design development plans for functional and core behavioral competencies
5. craft contingency plans for disasters
6. make their initial rating for teacher hiring and promotion
