 TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER PROGRAMME (TTP)

A four day Technology Transfer Programme in association with

Texas Instruments for the school students has reached the 3rd
day. 19 teams from various schools have participated in the
School Project Contest. The day came to an end with a Prize
Distribution Ceremony and the prizes were distributed by the
Principal Dr. Srinivasan Alavandar to the contestants.
 GARUDA AEROSPACE

Garuda Aerospace, which is located at Agni College of

Technology has set the stage for drone industry to boom in
India . It’s founder/CEO Mr. Agnishwar Jayaprakash shared his
views regarding that on NewsX channel dated 4th February
2022. Use of drones can increase agriculture GDP by 1 to 1.5
percent by working on full filling demands for drones to be
used in domestic agriculture sectors and global markets.
 DRONE INDUSTRY

Drone industry gets a massive push after Union Budget 2022.

Garuda Aerospace located at Agni College Technology in association
with the government companies, drone will be implemented in
various areas such as crop assessment, digitization of land records,
spraying. He explained his ideas of selling agricultural drones to
every part of India which would provide support services in the
deepest pockets of rural India and will simultaneously create a lot of
skilled employment.

Dr. Srinivasan Alavandhar, Principal, Agni College of Technology

interacted with the school teacher regarding the opportunities on
project based learning provided by Texas for school students which
helps to develop additional skills integral to their future such as
critical thinking and time management. One of the teacher
provided a positive feedback regarding the infrastructure, projects
demonstration and filed a formal request to the Principal that she
would collaborate with management if an opportunity is created.
 FACULTY PARTICIPATION

Dr. Meera S, Head, Department of CSE has successfully

completed a five day Faculty Development Programme
sponsored by ISTE and CSI on the title BIG DATA
ANALYSIS and SECURITY with BLOCK CHAIN- THE
FUTURE.

and Placement Executive has visited Ashok Leyland
located at Sipcot, HR, L& D and CSR regarding Internship,
project, skill training , MoU signing & graduate
apprenticeship collaboration for EEE Mechanical &
Mechatronics Engineering students.

Ms. Archana, Placement Executive has visited SS Fine

Motors and Appliance Private Limited, Sipcot, Industrial
complex phase I, Hosur on Saturday, 5th, February, 2022
and discussed with the General Manager regarding
placements in collaboration with Pure Prooduction for
EEE students.

Internship, project, Guest Lectures & Placements for EEE,
ECE, Mechatronics & M. Tech Power Electronics, students.
