Explain number two etymology

The word "two" has its roots in Old English, where it was written as "twā". It ultimately derives from Proto-
Germanic "twai", which is similar to the word in other Germanic languages such as German "zwei" and Dutch
"twee". The origin of the Proto-Germanic word is uncertain, but it may be related to the Proto-Indo-
European word "dwóh₁", which also gave rise to words for "two" in other Indo-European languages such as
Latin "duo" and Greek "dyo".
