Hi dear host family, I hope you are well, my name is Alex, I´m 24, I´m from

Colombia and I´m a lawyer….so today I’d like to share with all of you a little bit
of my story and who I am, so come with me … (imagen de mi con mi nombre)

I grew up on this beautiful island called Tumaco, located in the middle of the
Colombian Pacific Ocean, and it is a place full of culture, traditions and
wonderful people.

I live with my parents, my mother Aracelly and my father Edwin, we are a very
loving and fun family, fortunately my parents have always supported me in
every one of my projects throughout my life, helping me to become the person I
am today.

I would like to be part of this great experience, because I really enjoy spending
time with children, it is great to teach them new things and share their little
achievements, and to be one of the people who can help them and provide
support in each of their life stages, I love working with them, I really enjoy their
company and I feel comfortable with them, since it feels wonderful to be an
example to follow.
I would also like to participate because I think …… This type of experiences
allows us to acquire new knowledge, while at the same time I can improve my
level of English, live new experiences and make new friendships.
For all of these reasons, I would be very happy to be part of this program as an
au pair and to be able to contribute with my work and my dedication within a
family, helping in every situation that I can.

About my experience with children I had the opportunity to work in a summer

camp called YMCA Camp Seymour in the United States. participating as camp
counselor there for approximately three months carrying out (aut) different
activities focused on the integral development (divelopment) of them, I
remember that I worked with children between the ages (eiyis) of 8 and 11,
doing all kind of activities, such (sach) as canoeing, wall climbing, outdoor
skills, dancing, swimming, arts and crafts, well as other activities.
From these (diis) experiences, I learned to be more responsible, to be more
patient, I learned also to take care of others, to be respectful (rispectfol) and to
work as a team.
I can say that it was a great experience for me, it was a demanding and
challenging experience that pushed me to the limit of my abilities, but it also
helped me to learn many new things.

I would describe myself as… passionate, because I really love what I do and
enjoy every moment of my life to the fullest with my family and friends,
responsible because my goals and projects are my priority (praioriti) since I want
to achieve each one of my dreams and helpful because I enjoy helping others
with my work, effort and dedication, because that is something that makes me
very happy.

in my free time I really love spending time with my family and friends, I really
enjoy walking in nature and camping, I love making new friends everywhere and
meeting new people, I am very cheerful and I enjoy dancing and cooking, my
favorite sport is swimming is already something that I love and makes me very
happy

So this is a little bit of my life, I hope you can get to know me a little bit better
