Top 10 Famous Leader in the World and their contribution

1. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi also known as Mahatma Gandhi. He is considered

as one of the most famous leader in the world. In my opinion, his greatest

contribution that makes him a great leader is the way he fights for the rights of the

Indian people. It takes a lot of years for him to fight for it in South Africa before going

back home to fight for Indian Liberation

2. Martin Luther King Jr. Fighting for fairness. It has been his dream for a long time. His

name put a mark especially after his speech entitled, “I have a Dream”. He died in

assassination that proved that non-violent protest or the peaceful activism can

influence tremendous change. “I have a dream that my four children will one day live

in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content

of their character”, this is part of his speech which makes an impact that is why I

consider him as a famous leader in the world.

3. Nelson Mandela. He is a man who deeply committed in improving the lives of his

people. I also remembered that his perception about education has stuck in me for a

very long time. I have always believed in his statement that says, “Education is the

most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.

4. Mother Teresa. Due to her experience in living in the slums where she faced hunger,

poverty, and homelessness, she is determined to help poor children. What makes

her a famous and good leader for me is that she willingly helped those poor children

to be educated in a way that they can improve their lives. She proved that what we

need is compassion for everyone.

5. Bill Gates. A successful entrepreneur. Who does not want to be as successful as he

is. He leads a corporate world which inspires people to dream bigger and work hard

to achieve those dream. His actions put a lot of impact to me so I considered him a

famous leader of this world. His doings inspire a lot of people. He truly is a leader.
6. Oprah Winfrey. Women Empowerment. She is considered as the most influential

woman in her generation. She teaches a lot about gender equality and women

empowerment. It is not only that, also because of her race she had to fight for her

rights. She succeeded in both. She is a remarkable leader that reminds me of the

power a woman has.

7. Alexander the Great. He is always being reckless of his own life. Nevertheless, his

way of protecting his men makes an impact. He always leads his army in front. It

makes him an effective leader of his army. Who would not want a brave leader like

him. He is known everywhere. His name is known as a powerful leader.

8. Pope Francis. I assumed that everyone in the world know him. He is one of the most

known leader today. He is a spiritual leader of All Roman Catholics around the world.

Christianity is the largest religion in the world. He is a famous leader because he is

always being respected by everyone.

9. Abraham Lincoln. He is one of the most beloved and memorable leader in modern

history. It is due to his stand in influencing what would become the freest and most

prosperous nation on earth. He always wants what is best for the country he served

with. He stands on his decision he believed in. He always has his value. He leads an

economy to a rapidly modernized one. It goes to show that his leadership skill leads

the United States into a better country.

10. Barack Obama. One of the most loved US president. He is elected twice in

presidency. He is known all over the world. He has a great leadership skill that leads

his country into a productive one. He served for the best of his people. He is an

inspiration leader for me.
