AFTER EVENT REPORT ON THE WRITESHOP ON THE POLICY REVIEW ON
HANDLING PRINT LEARNING RESOURCES

The Bureau of Learning Resources has conducted the Writeshop on the

Policy Review on Handling Print learning Resources at Oasis Hotel, Tanza,
Cavite last November 21 – 15 2022.

The undersigned was one of the selected participants who reviewed existing
policies and aligned these existing policies with the new directives of the
BLR Management especially in identifying the root analysis of the cause of
shortages in the delivered and received LRs.

Right from day 1 to the last day, I participated actively in providing input
and critiqued the draft policy we created.

The draft policy was created and passed through careful evaluation from the
participants and were ably handled by the BLR Production Dvision Staff
headed by the Division Chief Maam Besy Agamata.

Added insights for us participants were given by speakers coming from the
Asset Management Division and from the Private Publishing Company – Rex
Publishing on their best practices in handling print learning resources.

At the end of the weeklong writeshop, the management and participants

agreed to finalized the draft policy once it is presented to the top
management of the department in order to incorporate their comments and
suggestions.
