The pipeline maintenance technician must master tasks
associated with, but not limited to: locating and placing
lines; inspection of pipelines and related components;
coating application and maintenance, evacuation work and
safety; welding; pressure testing; and general pipeline
repair. The Level 1 technician custom assessment is
designed for those tasks that are performed under a larger
span of control. This is an approved version of the PMT
custom exam and is available by CBT and paper.
