From the previous lesson you have learned that ratio is the comparison of one quantity or
number to another.You taught how to read the ratio.
Read the following comparison and write the ratio

Ask the pupils if they have gone through a candy store, what things they bought and the
amount they paid.
B. Developmental Activities
1. Presentation
Rona and Alice went to a candy store. Rona bought 10Halayang Ube for
P20.00, 6pcs of polvoron for P30.00. After a while they ate together. What is
the ratio of polvoron to halayangube?

The pupils will form four groups and will be ask to list down the number of polvoron and

There are two ways we can write ratio. We can write ratio in fraction form and in colon form
