WEEKLY REPORT(WEEK12)

( Initial Data )

Type of Tree Langka/Jackfruit (Fruit-bearing)

No. of Planted Tree/s One

Initial Height 28.50cm

No. of Leaves 8

Acquired Beside our House (Brgy. Montecillo Sariaya, Quezon)

It was almost three weeks since I last updated my jackfruit sapling. As I’ve expected
there are always positive results due to the fact that it is an easy to grow plant and not that
sensitive. The new leaves clearly are beginning to become more visible as we can see on the
photo. There have been no problems since the time I planted the sapling. There was a 1.5cm
growth from my last update due to the new leaves growing upwards. I still continue my weekly
maintenance since it has been too sunny for the last weeks for the plant to survive. I always tend
to clean its surroundings and give it enough water everyday. I also protect it from chickens which
ruin plants in our home. That’s why it took me so long to transport it from the plant plastic to the
ground. I am expecting that the growth of the plant will go smoothly until the end of the sem or
maybe for years.
