DIPLOMA IN CONSTRUCTION ADJUDICATION-2021

The apex body for the Construction Industry in Sri Lanka, the Construction Industry Development Authority ( CIDA)
has planned to conduct a Diploma Course on Adjudication, fulfilling a long felt need of Construction Professionals
involved in Dispute Resolution.

This Diploma course is designed to offer a precise understanding on Adjudication with a view to either practicing as
an Adjudicator or being sufficiently vested to assist their employers involved in Adjudication. The participants who
pass the assignment and the examination conducted at the end of the Diploma Course on Adjudication will be
awarded the Diploma Certificate. The participants will be selected from the applicants after careful consideration of
qualifications and experience followed by an interview.
Admission Requirements :
 A Bachelor’s Degree from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission, Sri Lanka in
Engineering , Architecture or in Quantity Surveying, or an equivalent qualification from a tertiary institution
accepted to CIDA
 At least Eight(08) years overall experience in Construction Contracts Administration.

Duration : 40 days (Fridays &Saturdays), starting from February 2021

Time : 8.30a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Venue : Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA)
Fee : Rs 120,000.00, inclusive of Course materials, Lunch & Refreshment
Date of Commencement : 2nd week of February 2021
Medium : English
Payment Method : Reserve your seat by paying advance payment of Rs.60,000/ = to CIDA and
balance amount shall be paid within two months after commencement of the Course.
Closing Date : 20th January 2021
