DRIVING HORROR STORIES

CHASEY KILCREASE (12)
"I was driving with both of my
parents on the interstate. My dad
told me to get in the far inside
lane, but then immediately
screamed at me to get off. So I
swerved, trying to get over, and
almost side-swiped another car.
Luckily, no car was in the left
lane, and I got over safely. I didn't
drive for a while after that,"
Chasey Kilcrease (12) said.
SCOTT WOODYARD (10)
"The first time I drove with my
parents was coming home from
the DMV after getting my permit.
I pulled into a gas station parking
lot and took up two parking spots
because I parked so badly," Scott
Woodyard (10) said.
OLIVIA SCHIRRA (12)
"The first time I drove by myself, I
wanted to go to Zaxby's and get
lunch. While pulling out of the
drive-thru, it started pouring. I
cried the whole way home
because I couldn't see the road,
and I was hydroplaning like
crazy," Olivia Schirra (12) said.
JACKIE BURNETT (12)
"The first time my mom let me
drive long distances with friends, I
went to Charleston. My friend's
tire popped on a busy road, and
we were stuck there forever. We
had to stay with a friend of one of
my friend's parents until we could
get her tire fixed because she
didn't have a spare," Jackie
Burnett (12) said.
