In case of order

Necessary preconditions for guarantees before installing the Barbich NMR

Grinding Control System:

The initial and final state of the installation campaign with the Barbich NMR Grinding
Control System is emphasized in Final report.

STARTING PROTOCOL

The following data have to be provided by the client to prepare Starting protocol:

Definition of:

 Cement types and mills, on which the guarantees shall be proved.

 Composition of defined cement types, clinker and gypsum changes.
 Grinding additives which are used for the defined cement types.

The data of the last 2 months before the installation campaign emphasis:

1) Process data:
▪ Average capacity (feed rate).
▪ Rpm of separator and ventilator for the production of the defined cement types.
▪ Electric energy consumption of mills per mass of defined cement type.
▪ Dosing rate of grinding additives, accuracy of dosing rate.

2) Laboratory data:
▪ Average compressive strength (2, 7 and 28d) and their standard deviation.
▪ Strength limits determined by client for each cement type.
▪ Laser sieve residue on 45 m sieve or Sieve residue on 90 m sieve.
▪ If available: Laser specific surface of cement.

3) Process limitations:
▪ Elevator limitations.
▪ Mechanical and process limits of separator and ventilator frequencies.
▪ Other process limitations.

Starting protocol has to be signed at the beginning of the installation campaign by the
authorized representative of the client, Dr. Barbich and A TEC on basis of the above
mentioned data.

GENERAL PROCEEDING

Before starting the installation campaign with the Barbich system the following
points have to be agreed by the client:

The client has to nominate authorized representative who accompanies the installation
campaign of Dr. Barbich and A TEC and signs the “Daily Report” and “Final Report”. The
beginning of the installation campaign is determined by signification of the first daily
record.

Regulation of cement mills during installation campaign is suggested by Dr. Barbich and
A TEC in coordination with the authorized representative of the client.
Dr. Barbich, A TEC and the authorized representative of the client take decisions about
duration of installation campaign for different cement types and mills taking into account
the production program.
The operators of the mills are allowed to stop the mill but not to change the adjusting
conditions that are suggested by Dr. Barbich or A TEC.
The authorized representative is obliged to be present in production all the days of the
installation campaign.

INSTALLATION CAMPAIGN
Daily reports are prepared and signed every day by Dr. Barbich, A TEC and the
authorized representative of the client to trace the installation campaign. Version of data
formulary for the Daily report is approved by the client at the beginning of the installation
campaign.

Starting Protocol and Daily report are the basis for the Final report in which the achieved
results are described and signed by all parties.

In accordance with the signed Final report, the client realizes the final payment as
defined in the contract.

If the installation campaign cannot be finished and (or) the Final report cannot be signed
because of reasons outside A TEC responsibility, the final total payment in accordance
with the contract is paid by the client latest within 3 month after delivery.

After signing the Final report further on-line consultation (e-mail or phone) is provided by
Dr. Barbich and A TEC for an additional year without costs for the client.

Dr. Barbich and A TEC GmbH guarantee that all data given by the client are strictly
confident and never given to third parties.
