Rationale Pursuant to the DepEd Order No. 034, series of 2022 also known as the School Calendar of
Activities for the School Year (SY) 2022-2023, 5-day Midyear Break was clearly stated and
scheduled on February 6-10, 2023, which will be used for MPRE and In Service Training to be
organized by the school. This INSET is the right avenue for re-skilling and upskilling of teachers
for the new normal in education. It equipped teachers with adequate new knowledge and skills
on how to face and overcome those gaps and challenges after the 2-year implementation of
modular distance learning.

knowledge on ICT, DAP-ELLN and Pedagogical Retooling in Mathematics, Languages and

Science (PRIMALS) for G4-6 Teachers to address teachers need in teaching and learning process.
Furthermore, this activity will enhance the stock knowledge and measure teachers’ ability on
ICT, Early language and Literacy Development for K-3 learners and learning curriculum in
Filipino integrated to other subjects in Grades 4-6. Fortunately, this training will manifest a
productive and positive expectations both teachers and learners’ performance.
This 5-day School Based In- Service Training aims to capacitate teachers with right knowledge
and skills to effectively provide quality teaching and learning process and it will ensure that

productively in this face to face modality of training.

1. enhance teachers in teaching Filipino curriculum and integrate to other subjects in
Grades 4-6;
Enabling Objectives 2. capacitate teachers about early language and literacy for K-3 learners.
3. equip teachers how to learn more on comprehension in reading Filipino.
4. acquire knowledge about current offline ICT applications and MS365.
5. orient teachers on DepEd Memorandum n.8 s. 2023 (Mid year Guidelines on RPMS)
