Background Information
A. Rationale of the Program/Activity
To be able to realize and implement the K to 12 Curriculum, and develop a holistic
Filipino equipped with 21st century skills. DepEd recognizes the role of the teachers as one
of the components of the curriculum support system of the Philippine Education, thus
DepEd adopted PPST that will operate through various mechanism that will promote
professional development for teachers. Deped Order No.21, s 2021.
In reference to DepEd Order No. 29 s, 2021 and Division Memorandum No. 36
s.2022, reiterates the conduct of INSERVICE TRAININGS FOR TEACHER to be conducted
on February 02-04, 2022

B. Objectives of the Activity
The Objective of the Activity is for teachers to be able to review, plan, modify, the
departments programs and activities for S.Y 2022-2023;
To be able to review, and draft executable weekly home learning plan;
To revisit and discuss the different principles and strategies in teaching Araling
Panlipunan

C. Expected Outcome and Results

After the SLAC by the Araling Panlipunan, the teacher must be able to implement all
the principles and strategies and be equipped with more skills that will help them
deliver lessons and make it more interesting to students.
D. Summary Profile of Participants
The SLAC was attended by 12 Araling Panlipunan teachers last August 17, 2022

A. Preliminary Activities
Prayer and management of learning was done and energizer was given.

The session started by the speaker, Mrs. Analyn H. Maclang, where in she
discusses the different
principles in teaching Araling Panlipunan. she gives a best process in what a
teachers needs to focus

The Department Head gives the closing remarks, and thanked all AP teachers in the
