Narrative /Accomplishment Report on Conducting SLAC on the Implementation of


RPMS Phase 1

I. Introduction :
A.Background:
With reference to Deped Memorandum No. 004,s. 2002, and in the whole year
plan school activity on SLAC, Cabawan Elementary School conducted LAC on the guidelines of
the implementation of RPMS phase 1.
B.Purpose/Objectives:
1. Clarification of the objectives and indicators to be observed of the proficient and
high proficient teachers.
2.Explain the purpose and functions of eSAT and IPPD of teachers.

II.Project Initiation
A.Planning
School head and master teacher assigned the different committee among teachers such
as documentor,attendance in-charge,ICT etc.

III.Training and Orientation
The Department of Education underscored anew the importance of the Results-Based
Performance Management System (RPMS)That is aligned with the Professional Performance
Standard for Teachers(PPST) With 4 Phases cycle of the Strategic Performance Management.
such as Performance Planning and Commitment,Performance Monitoring and Coaching,
Performance Review and Evaluation and Performance Rewards and Development Planning.
SLAC conducted on October 13,2023 at Cabawan Elementary School Heads office at exactly
1:0clock in the afternoon with 12 participants attended.It was conducted or oriented by the
master teacher Norma C. Doinog and so with the Schhol Head Ma’am Teresita P. Pontillo.
1st phase of RPMS was the focused of the LAC Indicators to be observed were also tackled for
the teachers to be ready during classroom observation.Right after the orientation done
preparing of Esat and IPPD were done by the teachers .
SLAC was successfully done and ended with an encouragement words by the school head with
a quote says PLAN YOUR WORK AND WORK YOR PLAN.
IV.Design
RPMS is an organization- wide process to ensure that employees focus work efforts towards
achieving DepEd’s Vision,Mission andValues.
A systematic approach for continuous and consistent work improvement and individual
growth.
V.Rollout and Communication
Overview of Communication Plan for introducing RPMS Phase 1 to employees and
description of the phased rollout strategy, including any challenges faced during the
implementation.
VI.Data Collection and Monitoring
A. Introduction of the tools and methods used for data collection in phase 1.
B. Monitoring or explanation of the procedures put in place to monitor teachers
performance progress.
VII.Challenges and Solutions
1.Developing and applying of Higher Order Thinking Skills in teaching is not evidently
applied and developed by most of the teachers
There was mentoring from master teacher and school head regarding the concern.And
there was recommendation from school head to have seminar or LAC about the issue.
2.There was difficulties encountered by teachers in preparing Esat AND IPPD.
Mentoring is conducted from master teacher and school head.
3.Using ICT is not maximizely done due to accessible internet.
Recommendation for internet upgrading.

VIII.Feedback and Evaluation:


There should be a compilation of feedback from teachers regarding their
experience with RPMS.
Analysis of effectiveness of Phase1

IX. Summary/Result/Impact/Achievements
Orientation of RPMS phse 1 successfully done and followed by preparing Esat and IPPD.
Classroom observation of 10 teachers already done.and future phases of RPMS is
continuously monitored.
