Leadership Experiences:

 Resource Provider/Learning Facilitator – I have offered presentations on how


to use different technological applications to help advance teachers within my
school as at the diocese level.
o Jamboard – individual school site
o Boxlight Smart Boards – individual school site
o Class Dojo- individual school site
o Nearpod – diocese
 School Leader – I have offered to head the school Christmas Program, Stem
Lab Coordinator, and Decathlon teacher/organizer. I help to run these after
school and extra-curriculars to make a more close-knit school community.
 Learner- I have engaged in personal development opportunities at the individual
and diocesan level. I am able to find opportunities to enhance my learning on my
own and when presented the opportunity I also go.
o Diocese- Social Emotional Learning, Restorative Justice, Data Collection
o Individual- Science of Reading, Social Emotional Learning, and Stem
Incorporation.

Leadership Goals:
 I will develop my leadership in Professional Development at my own school
site
o GOAL:  Provide appropriate mentoring relationships for all teachers at my
school to help them feel comfortable integrating technology.
o RATIONALE: There are many benefits to being a mentor, including career
advancement and satisfaction (Benefits of Mentoring Article/Study).
o NBPTS: Proposition 5: Teachers are members of learning communities.

o TLMD: Domain 2: Accesses and Uses Research to Improve Practice and


Student Learning
o OBJECTIVE: Serve as a mentor for all teachers at my given school site to
incorporate technology (short/long-term).
 I will improve my instruction to better support student improvement
o GOAL:  Provide appropriate teaching and assessing methods that allow
for data collection to improve student leaning.
o RATIONALE: There are numerous benefits to incorporate methods on
how to improve student instruction and data to promote more learning
success (Benefits of using data).
o NBPTS: Proposition 3: Teachers are responsible for managing and
monitoring student learning.

o TLMD: Domain 4. Facilitates Improvements in Instruction and Student


Learning
o OBJECTIVE: Research and implement various ways of collecting data
and allowing that to inform my instructional process to positively impact
student ‘s learning and school culture (long-term).
 I will improve my knowledge on the standards and curriculum of the school
and grade to help support student growth beyond my grade.
o GOAL: Improve understanding and teaching of using the grade-level
subjects in order to best support student learning beyond the classroom.
o RATIONALE: Understanding the standards and curriculum at hand can
help students to make better connections with the grade-level standards

o NBPTS: Proposition 2: Teachers know the subjects they teach and how to
teach those subjects to students.

o TLMD: Domain 3. Promoting Professional Learning for Continuous


Improvement.

o OBJECTIVE: Research and implement various ways of incorporating
project based learning and creative lessons that relate to the given grade-
level standards and curriculum (short term/long-term).
